In light of recent events, many hospitals and blood centers have had increased demand for blood. The supply which typically is five days is now down to less than one day. Because of this critical need, Local 420 would like to do what we can by asking our members to donate blood at their community blood centers.

Any member that donates blood between now and February 28, 2022, will be placed into a drawing for a $50.00 gift card to the Local 420 shop. There will be one winner per each of Local 420’s six districts. The drawings will be held at the April 2022 membership meeting in Wausau.

To be eligible:

1. Get a picture of yourself while giving blood between now and February 28, 2022.
2. Send the picture to District Director Mike Weber at mweber@local420.wi.org by March 18, 2022.
3. Include your name and district and/or employer.
4. Let us know if we can use the picture on social media or possible future articles in the newsletter.
