The Union is aware of a lawsuit brought by a non-bargaining unit employee involving pay for changeovers under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and a number of members have contacted the Union after receiving a “Notice of Right to Join Lawsuit for Unpaid Wages Against Wisconsin Electric Power Company d/b/a We Energies” in the mail. The Union will remain apprised of the litigation. Although the litigation arises outside of the collective bargaining agreement and was brought by a non-member, you may feel free to participate in or not participate in that litigation as you see fit.
